Absolutely! All of our concrete flatwork and structural poured concrete are heavily reinforced with steel rebar and synthetic fiber mesh. Proper reinforcement is vital for preventing surface cracks and maintaining structural integrity over time, especially during harsh freeze-thaw weather cycles. We do this because, according to the American Concrete Institute (ACI), when you place steel rebar reinforcement within poured concrete, it increases its tensile strength capacity by 10 to 15 times more than unreinforced concrete.
